Celery Ketchup Marinade for Steak

Recipe Ingredients

1/3 cup ketchup
½ cup water
1/3 cup lemon juice1 teaspoon celery seeds
2 teaspoon Worcestershire
1 bay leaf
½ teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
¼ teaspoon crushed basil
dash of Tabasco

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Score steak; marinate in shallow pan in refrigerator overnight.
