Cranberry Chutney

Recipe Ingredients
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 lb. cranberries
¼ cup cider vinegar
1 cup raisins
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
½ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
Combine water and sugar; boil 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, stirring occasionally until berries have popped and mixture is fairly thick (about 10 minutes). This will jell when chilled; but can be served hot and soupy.
