Mushroom Matzo Kugel Recipe

Mushroom Matzo Kugel Recipe:

Ingredients:

4 sheets of matzo
2 cups hot water
4 eggs, beaten
1 onion, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Break the matzo into small pieces and place them in a large bowl.

Pour the hot water over the matzo and let it soak for 5 minutes.

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are tender.

Add the sautéed onion and mushroom mixture to the bowl with the soaked matzo. Mix well.

Add the beaten eggs, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix until everything is well combined.

Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with vegetable oil.
